FAQ: How to make Initial setting with Adjustment Program

Recommended Posts

Sometime it happens the printer begin working different, wrong way and you have to make it work as new one with Epson factory settings.

Download the Epson Adjustment Program for the exactly printer model you have.

Run the program and select Initial Setting.

Input Serial number and click Initial Setting button.

When I run the Adjustment Program, I get multiple "cartridge not recognized" errors when I try to run Initial Setting on my Epson R3000/Windows 7, but when I run  a print from an old version of Photoshop it works normally

Did you mean Initial settings or "Initial Charge"?

If it is the first then ink levels should not have any effect on the outcome, but if you actually mean Initial Charge then you need 60% or more ink level for all of the colours before you can run it.

Thank you, that was the problem. I have never used this printer for the PK ink and didn't realize that, even though never used, it still has to be nearly full to run the INITIAL CHARGE.
