    I have tried that several times, no luck. If I then put in an OEM cartridge it works perfectly. Very Odd????

    I have downgraded the firmware on my Epson XP410 and refilled and reset original OEM cartridges. The colour cartridges are recognised and work well. The black is recognised but fails to print. I have tried a number of refilled and reset OEM black cartridges. Any further ideas on why this should be so?? Maybe the original firmware has the ability to prevent the reset cartridge working. All software updates are disabled.
