Color Density Detail

Use the sliderbar or text box to set the value.

To use a specific image as Sample Prints to choose the most appropriate media, click the radio button next to User Defined Image, then click Browse to find the image.

Note:

The available size for User Defined Image is within 4060 x 1190 pixels and 24 bit BMP file format.

To use a standard image, leave the radio button as it is.

Click Sample Prints.

If you are not satisfied with the results, try another value and repeat steps 1through 3.

Write down the value you determined.

Click Close and enter in the text box in the original menu the value you wrote down.

Note:

Because color balance is not maintained when using this feature, print results may be different than expected. If you want to change color density while maintaining color balance, go back to the Media Type dialog box and select a different media type from the Media Type list.

Make sure that the density does not exceed the limit that the media can absorb.
