How to reset Epson WF-3620, WF-3640 printers waste ink counter without using Adjustment Program

Usualy You can reset Waste Ink Pad Counters in Epson printers by using Adjustment Program or WIC Reset Utility. But this Epson WF-3620, WF-3640 printer models doesnt have built in waste ink counter. The counter is stored in the IC chip installed on separate Maintenance Cartridge (box). When it overflow - You have to replace it by new one with new IC chip.

The Maintenance Box stores ink that gets flushed from the system during print head cleaning. When the maintenance box is at the end of its service life, you need to replace it.........

Hello,

To reset the waste ink counter for your Epson WF-3620 or WF-3640 printer without using an Adjustment Program, you’ll need to replace the maintenance box that contains the IC chip. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

Purchase a new maintenance box with the part number T6711.

Remove the old maintenance box:

Turn off the printer and disconnect any cables.

Open the printer’s rear cover by pressing the tabs.

Grasp the old maintenance box and pull it out of its holder.

Install the new maintenance box:

Take the new maintenance box out of its package.

Insert it into the holder and push it all the way in.

Reattach the rear cover of the printer.

After replacing the maintenance box, the printer should automatically reset the waste ink counter. If you need further assistance, consider referring to the printer’s service manual or contact Epson support for help.

I hope the information may helps you.
