In my case, the printer goes into recovery mode also.
I used 2 keys and the downgrade not worked yet.
Via USB, all firmware files were transfered to the printer and after firmware upgrade a message is shown: ROM IS NOT WRITABLE.
After this message and executing a reboot ( turn off - turn on ), the XP411 goes to Recovery Mode.
I sent an email to John - Admin but he didn't replied yet.
