The Waste Ink Maintenance Box stores ink that gets flushed from the printer system during print head cleaning.
Your printer and its software will let you know when the maintenance box needs to be replaced.
This T671000 Ink Maintenance Box work with Epson WorkForce printers:

Waste Ink Maintenance Box has its own IC Chip, which counts quantity of waste inks. If You dont want to replace the Waste Ink Maintenance Box - You can Reset the chip on this Waste Ink Maintenance Box.

To Reset the chip You have to use special Chip Resetter SP-4015

XP322 ran out of copies and froze up. I read up that it was an Epson device to sell more printers but discovered your site just before treating it to a display of bad temper. The 20% of extra time will make the replacement question easier and i can use my stock of ink up on this 4 year old printer. I may even use your services to zero life the counter as it isn't a bad device really. Thank you so much.

WOW - WOW + WOW using your service since 2012 with 2 EPSON printers and CISS: PX 720 WD and XP 960 never had any real problems kisses for the ciss (as girl that I'm not) so what Everything works very fine - all one has to do is watch for pressure within inks - system Ciss saved a lot of money printing thouseands of hires fotos your service + team is excellent !!!!!!!!! Didn't EPSON learn from you - now they are selling printers with build - in CISS So YOU should get monex from EPSON !!!!!!!! The best of course is resetting the counters Go on like this

Having used Epson "reset" utility once, with success on my XP 830, it allowed me a bit more printing time until it just stopped cold. Research found this site. My download from 2manuals was easy as was the entire process and my printer is working once again, no thanks to Epson. I removed the ink pad chamber and replaced the saturated pads with some of my wife's cotton make up pads...Ha ! We'll see how long that lasts. Very similar material. Usual 'Service parts inside printer' etc. message on my Epson RX640. None of the freeware solutions worked, so I was a bit dubious about this. I have to say it worked a treat!! No problems at all. It reset the waste ink counter, I cleaned the waste ink pads and so for �6.32 I've got a new printer. :-) Recommended.
