  My Epson 1280 started getting the dreaded flashing panel lights. The printer quit working all together. I found on the web, that the cause was the ink waste counter had topped out and the printer required service to reset the counter. Then I found this site and downloaded the manual and the service application. Ran the program and quickly reset the counter now all is well again! Worked like a dream. Thank you!   I was at 94 percent and got a warning from my printer that my ink pads were close to the end of their service life. After doing some research with Epson and some other stores I got the impression they just wanted you to trade it in on a new printer. This website was linked by a few different blogs and turned out to be the best alternative to keeping a fairly decent printer for a while longer. Thank you.
