FIRMWARE KEY is required for changing printers firmware.

WIC Reset Utility is used to change printers firmware in following cases:

1. Change to Chipless Firmware - it means printer will not need IC Chips on ink cartridges. Ink levels will be frozen to 100% for ever.
2. Downgrade firmware - this is required when NON ORIGINAL ink cartridges are NOT recognized by printer. This is because printers firmware has been updated from Epson server to newest firmware where not original ink cartridges are forbidden to be used. In this case You have to Downgrade firmware back to old.

John, On your word and based on testimonials I purchased they reset key. Worked perfect up until this point and even ran it through multiple head cleanings. Artisan 710 running again and saved a lot of money. Thanks.

I have an Epson PX710w it is a brilliant printer, happy was I...but then.... the now infamous \"end of life\" message appeared. After hours of research I found that Epson had a free download to reset and service printer, I downloaded only to find it did not work. On contacting epsonuk I was told that there is no reset utility or program for uk Epson printers and that I must take it to my local Epson service centre.... this would cost £80 plus vat and parts! more than a new printer. After advice from forums and many ebay offers of a \"genuine\" reset utility/key, I found 2manuals.com. through them I \"chatted\" with John who assured me it would work, despite Epson uk advice, and so proceeded to purchase. from start to finish it took less than ten minutes and I now have a fully working printer for a Meer $10 (about £8) I cannot recommend this company any higher ..... thank you very much 2manuals and John and one up on big greedy corporation\'s. Hi. I tried to reset printer Epson EP-901f (japanese model). I tryed everything possible I could - SCC utility, soft reset,.... so far no luck. Then i bought this and it reset my printer just in second. Thanks for good job. My printer is back to life again. I paid for this printer about $550US. Now I can use it again just for spending extra almost 10 dollars. It\'s worth it. Thanks for your great job. Well done!
