You can run this program under Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 in compatibility mode. It is easy!

Lets get to know how to set it up.

To configure the compatibility mode for an application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe file (program you want to run), selecting Properties from the menu.

Select the Compatibility tab:

Windows 7 compatibility mode

You can choose to run the program in Windows 98 compatibility mode.

FOR THIS PROGRAM please use the WINDOWS 98 compatibility mode!!!

Download the program and run in compatibility mode!

BRILLIANT!!!!!!! You deserve every dollar you make from your extraordinary program and service. THANK YOU SO MUCH! In awe of you, that you could produce, make, create this reset program so that even I, 78 yrs. old, mostly blind and not much of a computer geek, could do it! I al thrilled and jumpinga round because you saved me about $300>$400 from not having to buy a new printer.

All I can say is thank you so much for saving my printer. I changed the ink pads ( very simple task ) and used the Epson Reset. My printer still did not work and I was devastated. I spent MANY hours online researching the problem ( Epson was absoutely no help at all ) and finally came across your product. I used your program to reset the ink pad counter and it reset the counter as advertised. After I restarted the printer It would not do anything. I uninstalled all of the Epson software and reinstalled with the original disk that came with the printer. AWESOME a new printer!!! I can not tell you how much i appreciate your product! I thought I was buying one of the best printers on the market at that time and I am really TICKED off at Epson for building in an unnessisary self destruct. I had purchased every upgrade for my printer Epson offered and was determined to get it working again and you did that for me. THANK YOU !!!!

It is end of October 2021. I just have bought the second reset key in my printers life. The first one I bought in 2015 !!! That means my printer had already it's life prolonged by 6 years and goes now into the second reset cycle. Keep up the good work to prevent valuable electronic hardware becoming garbage. I never had any trouble in 6 years with the ink waste pad after resetting the counter for the first time.

Great things! I had some problems with my Epson 2100. The printer stopped to work. However, when I read the manual it was possible for me to disable the indicator of the problem and now the printer works well again. The service program is also a great think! Thanks.

11-14-2025 - I JUST USED THE DOWNLOADED UTLITY PROGRAM AND BOUGHT THEIR $9.99 CODE FOR PURPOSE OF RESETTING THE INK WASTE COUNTER BULLSHIT ( EPSON ET-4550 SEVERAL YEARS OLD ) WHICH I NEVER HEARD OF UNTIL LAST WEEK WHEN THE PRINTER WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT TELL ME TO CONTACT EPSON. LOL- NOPE - CHAT GTP GAVE ME THE INFO FROM HERE, USED IT AND WORKED - TOOK ABOUT 5 MINUTES - ( I HOWEVER - DIDNT ACTUALLY CLEAN OR EMPTY THE INK WASTE OR WHATEVER - IM HOPING FOR THE BEST, ASSUMING ITS OLD ENOUGH THAT IT HAS DRYED ON ITS OWN. - THIS PART ISNT RECCOMENDED TO MY UNDERSTANDING - BUT ILL FIND OUT I SUPPOSE) BUT LONG STORY SHORT - EAST TO USE DOWNLOADED UTILITY, AND RESET KEY FOR 10 BUCKS WORKED - ABOUT 5 MINUTES OR LESS PROCESS. Having changed the ink pads in my Epson XP-342 I didn't expect to get an error message telling me I had to have a service by Epson! Found this site highly recommended for resetting this message so went on and downloaded the WIC Reset Key and sure enough my printer reloaded and I was able to use my printer again as I desperately needed to print some paperwork out. Thank you 2manuals.com. Excellent service.
