Printer is now fixed and working fine. Thank you very much for your help. (I have already "recommended " your site to a friend who was having a problem with his printer. Further if (when) I have a problem with any of my other printers, (Canon S600 and Cannon i560), if a manual is
needed, I will revisit.
Paid for Epson Stylus Color 900 service program and afterwards tried to download program from link. Link would only download a HTML file, and not an executable. Left a message from 2manuals to assist me.
This is too damn difficult. Why can the link not just download the executable?

Absolutely brilliant , this small utility saved me from having to replace my Printer.
Had I known of this sites existence previously I am sure it would have saved my Epson 580 which I just through out.
The only way to really adjust you printer is by using this program. The owner the printer could not adjust the print using the regular adjustmest utility incleuded in the printer drivers. But this program did the trick. The printer is perfectly adjusted and the owner is very happy with the printer now.
I figured it out. I ended up purchasing the LJ 1100 manual. I
just used a different email address and it worked fine. Btw, the service
manual helped me out tremendously! It paid for itself easily. I will
definitely be using your service manuals again in the future.

This program is a definate must have if you want to service your own printer. Using this program along with the servive manual (440,640,740) will help you to determine what the problem is. The program shows print head voltages, waste ink counter and reset, and recover print head functions just to name a few of the useful functions that this program has to offer. It returned my printer from a paperweight into a working Epson 640 in minutes. Even if your printer is working properly you can use this program ensure it will keep working.
