Having used Epson "reset" utility once, with success on my XP 830, it allowed me a bit more printing time until it just stopped cold. Research found this site. My download from 2manuals was easy as was the entire process and my printer is working once again, no thanks to Epson. I removed the ink pad chamber and replaced the saturated pads with some of my wife's cotton make up pads...Ha ! We'll see how long that lasts. Very similar material. Apart from the first key that I bought that did not arrive, the next 2 keys I bought arrived (I've only used one so far) so I'll save the other one for next time. Thanks very much for your help. Shelley Hamilton.

This tool is badly wrtten, after downgrading using the wrong firmareware version I was unable to purchase another key as it thought it was a duplicate order, tried online help waited a hour and gave up, in total I have wasted £40 on a CISS system thats not reconized by the printer, and £20 on the WIC tool that although was my fault, I can remedy because I can't puchase another key

This is like Magic!! I decided to leave a positive review because it saved me so much time and heartache. I needed to finish a lastminute order and of course that's when my printer decided that my ink pad was full. I was panicking cuz I only had a couple hours to complete the order. I took a deep breath read and followed all the instructions from here and within five minutes my printer was printing again!! Thank you!! Will definitely come back when/if it happens again!
