| Evgen Test | 2010-08-31 09:42:53 | | My printer stopped printing with the error as \"General Error\" Epson quoted me $60 to send an engineer to fix my printer.
After reading through the information on this site I decided to fix it myself. Found the problem was related to the waste ink pad counter.
Only 10 minutes, I had the the printer working. The printer tested fine and has done approx 150 pages since with NO issues.
Thanks for your WIC PROGRAM! | | | yoedies tira | 2008-03-13 19:15:17 | | i was interested with service manual, because my printer have problem..

Quite a bit cheaper than buying a new printer! | | | David Morris | 2011-11-02 15:33:04 | | I was a bit unsure about trying this at first but thought its only about fiver so give it a try,
and i'm glad i did, it's so simple and you save money as well, i had a slight problem with the reset key at first so i e-mailed 2manuals,
They sent me a new key and i was all sorted in less than no time . I would highly recomend, worth every penny.

Even though I hadn't been able to disable the process monitor thing that it says do first, the reset program still worked instantly when I ran it on an Epson XP-540. If there is one thing that gets my goat in terms of being so unethical both a rip-off financially and environmentally unsustainable, its the way printer companies rip us off. So am super grateful to have found a way round this. For a much more reasonable price than the printer shop told us, and something I could do at home when I needed the printer urgently for work! Thanks so much! | | | mauro albanese | 2020-10-22 13:26:46 | | Just over a week ago, I figured I was going to be in the market for a new printer. When the error message came up on my Epson XP-610 stating that "Parts inside the printer are at the end of their useful life" I initially was quite disappointed. However, after a quick Google search for that phrase, I came across the OctoInkjet website. After a little further research, I decided to give the trial waste ink counter reset code a shot - after all, what did I have to lose - and, somewhat to my surprise, it worked! Knowing that I then needed to purchase a new set of ink pads and a reset key to fully resolve my printer issues, I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost of purchasing both of these items together. I then placed my order, but knowing that the product was coming from overseas (I'm in the USA), I figured it would be a minimum of at least a few weeks before my printer pads arrived. But, lo and behold, the pads arrived on my doorstep in just over a week! I was thrilled and so I quickly replaced the pads in my printer with the new set (which, by the way, were a perfect fit and the instructions provided were excellent), ran the counter reset program applying the reset code I had purchased, and everything worked flawlessly! So now it feels like I have a brand new printer (although it's probably about 5 years old) and I can continue to purchase inexpensive third party ink cartridges (which I have always done), continuing to save me money for years to come. Thank you OctoInkjet!!! I will certainly be telling others to check out your product. P.S. - I seldom write product reviews so this shows how impressed I am with this product. I particularly love it when a solution is provided that overcomes "planned obsolescence" by the manufacturer. | | | Sharon Brown | 2008-07-21 04:40:38 | | I need help! Canon MP830 printer alarm light keep flashing. I keep turning my printer on and off. Error keep telling me look at the manual. I miss place my manual - just reset waste ink counter! | |
