Epson TX420 Firmware

The firmware of the printer is stored onto the Flash ROM on the Main Board. Whenever the Main Board is replaced, or when updating the firmware is required, write the firmware on the Flash ROM following the procedure included.

System Requirements: Windows 2000, XP (32-bit) (or other systems run in the compatibility mode - about compatibility mode).

  brilliant - absolutely brilliant. Thank you. Thought I would have to trash my printer and the unused ink cartridges. Only hiccup was needing to disable my security protection to install this wonderful product. Used it as a trial - which proved it worked - then bought the key to finish the job.   The Epson PP-100 should be supported (it is in your list), but in the WIC Reset Utility v.5.0.40 program the printer is not supported in the 'Control' button. What am I doing wrong ?

  Went to town and bought a cable. Printer status is now restored. Thank you. I\'m not the most computer tech person which added to the confusion. I do suspect there maybe a few others like myself that you could lessen some confussion by including a note that says \"if your printer is connected by wifi it will be necessary to use a USB cable during the hack\". Thank you again for the program. It made me both mad and sick to think that after so little use of this printer that I was going to have to throw it out. Gratefully yours, Dinesh Kumar

  Excellent! I had an old 51 sitting around but no way to find out what was wrong. the error codes(blinks) are worth the 7bills I paid.
