Epson TX420 Firmware

The firmware of the printer is stored onto the Flash ROM on the Main Board. Whenever the Main Board is replaced, or when updating the firmware is required, write the firmware on the Flash ROM following the procedure included.

System Requirements: Windows 2000, XP (32-bit) (or other systems run in the compatibility mode - about compatibility mode).

  it does not work, can not recognize ink cartridges always displayed, Epson SX400 ========== REPLY ============== The WIC reset utility can reset Waste Ink Counters only. Not Ink cartrigs levels in SX400. You can use auto reset chps to reset the ink levels.

  Great product. did the trick which always helps. I did watch your video on how you did it just incase i was doing it wrong and found that the video utility didnt look the same as the utility i used ie no Check button so was a bit unsure to start with. But the product is pretty much idiot proof.

  This was one of the most satisfying on-line experience I have EVER experienced! It started with some slightly suspicious message appearing on our (usually functional) 2019 Epson ET-2760 ink jet printer: “The Inkpad Needs Service. Contact Epson.” My wife, who has been the person diligently tending to the Epson, had surrendered because Epson was TOTALLY unresponsive. So then it was my turn. I did the only thing I ever do when confronted with a potential fiasco like this: I entered the mysterious Epson message into my Google search engine. Up popped information about a "WIC Reset Utility" that seemed to make sense. I downloaded the TRIAL version, which would theoretically be able to “reset” the Epson’s Inkpad counter One Time. Say Wha?!? Bottomline: It worked HEROICALLY, so I I have gone ahead and purchased the actual WIC Reset Utility software. I am imagining that if this message ever appears again I will now be able to work around it. This software literally SAVED our old Epson printer, for which I will be eternally grateful.   Hello - just great! Greetings from Germany - Es funktioniert auch mit dem Epson PX810FW perfekt - einfach hinten per USB anschlieen und das kostenlose Programm laden. Wenn der Drucker gefunden wurde, den Reset Key online per PayPal kaufen. Habe sofot den Key per E-Mail bekommen. Jetzt noch 3 Klicks und der Drucker ist wieder wie neu.... Danke und Gru
