You can run this program under Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 in compatibility mode. It is easy!

Lets get to know how to set it up.

To configure the compatibility mode for an application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe file (program you want to run), selecting Properties from the menu.

Select the Compatibility tab:

Windows 7 compatibility mode

You can choose to run the program in Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows XP compatibility mode.

FOR THIS PROGRAM please use the WINDOWS XP compatibility mode!!!

Download the program and run in compatibility mode!

Well...that was scary...I did a check on you and you are trusted so I over road the security settings of my apple mac. And now ...for FREE...my ink pad issues are over for the time being. THANKYOU.

When my printer quit working, I ordered a new printer. Then I decided to check youtube to see if anything could be done other than taking it in. That's when I found WIC. This process was so easy, I cancelled my order for a new printer and fixed this on in less than an hour. I ordered new pads and entered the code to reset. Code cost me less than 10 dollars, and 2 sets of pads for 15 dollars. Better than iver 300 for a new printer.

11-14-2025 - I JUST USED THE DOWNLOADED UTLITY PROGRAM AND BOUGHT THEIR $9.99 CODE FOR PURPOSE OF RESETTING THE INK WASTE COUNTER BULLSHIT ( EPSON ET-4550 SEVERAL YEARS OLD ) WHICH I NEVER HEARD OF UNTIL LAST WEEK WHEN THE PRINTER WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT TELL ME TO CONTACT EPSON. LOL- NOPE - CHAT GTP GAVE ME THE INFO FROM HERE, USED IT AND WORKED - TOOK ABOUT 5 MINUTES - ( I HOWEVER - DIDNT ACTUALLY CLEAN OR EMPTY THE INK WASTE OR WHATEVER - IM HOPING FOR THE BEST, ASSUMING ITS OLD ENOUGH THAT IT HAS DRYED ON ITS OWN. - THIS PART ISNT RECCOMENDED TO MY UNDERSTANDING - BUT ILL FIND OUT I SUPPOSE) BUT LONG STORY SHORT - EAST TO USE DOWNLOADED UTILITY, AND RESET KEY FOR 10 BUCKS WORKED - ABOUT 5 MINUTES OR LESS PROCESS. I just used this utility on an Epson XP 810. Worked like magic. First the trial version,this brought my printer back to life immediately. Then i bought the reset key, and according to the program, the waste counter is now set to zero. I replaced the inkpads with thightly packed adsorbent paper, so for less than ten dollars I have a fully working printer /scanner/copier again. Thanks! Chris
