I made the mistake of upgrading the firmware in my Epson XP-434. That caused my ink cartridges to not be recognized. I found this WIC Reset Utility after after searching for original firmware version. I bought the key and plugged it into the utility, and bingo 10 minutes later I was up and running. Thanks a bunch 2manuals.com!

Foarte multumit, am cumparat on-line in 22 decembrie 2016 - codul (Key) - a durat 5-10 minute (inregistrarea pe site si plata), am instalat softul lor in care am introdus codul primit prin e-mail - de la ei si in cateva secunde totul functioneaza ca nou. Imprimanta mea Epson R285 - resetata acum a 2-a oara. Prima data, de frica am apelat la o persoana, care tot aici a resetat-o. Recomand cu drag. Hi, I want to ask how will I know if my printer can be modified to chip less printer. I have an Epson 4730, I purchase it last year September but I am trying the compatible cartridge on it but it didn't work. So I am worried that if I buy the activation key, it will not work too.

It worked fine. It was just that we didn't know where to start with opening the program. I couldn't get it to install so there was an icon that took us into the whole program. I found out that if I clicked on the one icon it opened the one we needed. The service manual will be of great help for later when the ink absorption pad needs changing.
