You can run this program under Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 in compatibility mode. It is easy!

Lets get to know how to set it up.

To configure the compatibility mode for an application, just locate the installation directory and right click on the .exe file (program you want to run), selecting Properties from the menu.

Select the Compatibility tab:

Windows 7 compatibility mode

You can choose to run the program in Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows XP compatibility mode.

FOR THIS PROGRAM please use the WINDOWS 98 compatibility mode!!!

Download the program and run in compatibility mode!

Hi, I'm particularly satisfied of the Wic Reset Utility I just used for the 3rd time (2020, 2022 and now) for my Epson WP635 Printer. I had felt pads left from the last time, easily replaced them thanks to the excellent instructions found on octoink's site, then bought a new key and re-intitialized my printer in minutes. If you've replaced the heads, or removed/re-installed them, you need this! Also does a power nozzle clean - worth the money just for that. Note it needs DOS or a DOS box in Windows.

It took me a while to actually understand how to locate the Epson Status Monitor 3. It was a simple disable after that and a simple running of the program after that. I am up and running again!!! Thanks.

Just want to say thank you for the utility that has reset my et 2650 to 80% you're a lifesaver and I be back to get keys when i need them brillient

It is end of October 2021. I just have bought the second reset key in my printers life. The first one I bought in 2015 !!! That means my printer had already it's life prolonged by 6 years and goes now into the second reset cycle. Keep up the good work to prevent valuable electronic hardware becoming garbage. I never had any trouble in 6 years with the ink waste pad after resetting the counter for the first time.

I tried using the free utility Epson provided, the counter reset to 40%, then after a print I got the error again. I gave WIC a chance out of desperation and it work! Saved me from throwing out a perfectly good printer and buying a new one. I use CISS and do a lot of prints and head cleaning. I cleaned ink pads myself but will set up a waste bottle when I get the chance.
