HELLO!!! Today I bought a key for updating the firmware of my SC P-600 printer. After activ ating the key, WIC started updating the firmware and the message "ROM is not writeable" popped up on the printer screen. Now when I power on printer - I get "Recovery mode". What can I do now?!

Paid for Epson Stylus Color 900 service program and afterwards tried to download program from link. Link would only download a HTML file, and not an executable. Left a message from 2manuals to assist me. This is too damn difficult. Why can the link not just download the executable? ============= Just checked - it works fine. The trial key is key (pun intended). It unblocked my EcoTank right away through Wi-Fi. Soon I'll have to buy this key. This software DISABLING of the printer should be illegal. It's programmed to actually brick the device. Unbelievable. Talk about planned obsolescence!
