Epson L800 Firmware

The firmware of the printer is stored onto the Flash ROM on the Main Board. Whenever the Main Board is replaced, or when updating the firmware is required, write the firmware on the Flash ROM following the procedure below:

System Requirements: Windows 2000, XP (32-bit) (or other systems run in the compatibility mode - about compatibility mode).

If the printer is turned ON for the first time after the firmware is uploaded on the newly mounted Main Board which does not have any parameters at all, the printer automatically performs the initial ink charge. When the initial ink charge is not necessary, vw sure to clear the flag :Initial Ink Charge Flag ON / OFF"

Today my Epson printer stopped working. I have the tool they provide to reset the ink pad counter but it simply reports network error after network error trying to connect to the Epson server. Since its Christmas eve and I need to print some gifts for my kids I was totally hooped until I found you guys. I just want to thank you for doing what Epson was unable to do. They suck, you rock! Looks ok, working fine, save a lot of time in my case, finding a bad sensor in 15 minutes, but can not read counter information`s. Only can reset.

Want to thank u for ur gret websit becoz its so easy and shortly . by other wise i need u to info me about service manual if it has trouble codes and diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures ?......thanx

Hi, This is the second time I have reset my waste ink counter in about 18 months. Disappointed that the key I ordered (OS X Mac version) came to me as an exe. Luckily I had anticipated this and had a PC at the ready. That of course worked like a charm. Thanks anyway.
