The Xerox Docu Color DC12 Service Manual is the primary document used for repairing and troubleshooting.

WARNING!!!
This Installation is for Windows 95/98/Me ONLY!
1. Launch ODOCDEV.EXE.
2. Replace C:/XEROX/ODOC/DATA/BOOKS.INI on your PC to BOOKS.INI from downloaded folder.
3. Rename letter of CD-ROM drive in BOOKS.INI if necessery (default D:).
4. Launch C:/XEROX/ODOC/BIN/BROWSER.EXE and choose Xerox DC12 manual.

I was at 94 percent and got a warning from my printer that my ink pads were close to the end of their service life. After doing some research with Epson and some other stores I got the impression they just wanted you to trade it in on a new printer. This program is a definate must have if you want to service your own printer. Using this program along with the servive manual (440,640,740) will help you to determine what the problem is. The program shows print head voltages, waste ink counter and reset, and recover print head functions just to name a few of the useful functions that this program has to offer. It returned my printer from a paperweight into a working Epson 640 in minutes. Even if your printer is working properly you can use this program ensure it will keep working. For less than $6.00 it is worth having.

I want to know this program before i buy it. Can you explain me about your program i had many problem with my printer of Epson R270.

Thank You. I had just bought a new printer and Epson asked to update the firmware...unfortunately in the middle of the update my power shut off. I thought for sure I had deep sixed my brand new device. Even on the Epson website I could not find a manual firmware recover for my printer and OS version...others printers yes, but not this one. I found you website and thought I'd give it a try. Horray, My printer is back working again. While I am not happy to have to pay someone else for something that Epson should have given for free, your price was with-in reason and your software was easy to use.
