Epson IPL USB Sender - service tool is used to update the desktop printers firmware after motherboard replacing or just firmware updating.

Run the IPL_USBSender and upload the 1-st ROM file. It is the PRINTERMODEL.DAT file. This is the firmware file.

There is such file for every printer model. If you don't have it you can find it at 2manuals.com

  My Epson XP-800 max'd out on counters and died on me. Screen of death with printer disabled by manufacturers internal firmware. Researched the web and found these guys. The reset process and key purchase was easy to follow and after a few registration steps and a simple paypal transaction the reset key arrived, was entered and the printer was back working again.
