I figured it out.. I didn\'t read things as well as I should have.. and panicked a bit.
The good news is my Epson 1280 printer is up and running again thanks to your manual.

Did more research and to resolve the error, aside the firmware downgrade, I removed the ink, unplugged the printer, turned the printer back on, and placed the Ink's in individually pressing done after each ink. Doing this I was able to get it back up and running again. I installed a OctInkjet waste inkpad overflow and tried their reset to no avail - they furnished your link.
Your reset fixed my RX690 Epson printer within minutes . Ink started to flow into the overflow immediately (just as well it was installed).
I did apattern check-all six colours perfect.
