Very impressed! After a fruitless search for official Epson support for the Waste Ink error I found a YouTube video showing how to remove and clean the ink pads but still needed to reset the counter. After some initial "Is this unofficial 3rd Party Solution a scam?" trepidation I took a chance on the WIC reset tool and now, about half an hour (mainly spent drinking tea and waiting for the key to be emailed) and 6 quid later I have a fully functioning XP-342. In the meantime, Epson UK responded to a message I sent them on Twitter, telling me that I could send the printer away to their service centre for an unspecified period of time and pay them £48 to have the ink pads changed and the counter reset. All with a caveat that having "tampered" with the ink pads myself, the service centre might refuse to fix the printer. Thanks for a great piece of kit which has saved me a lot of time, effort and money.

Everything works good for resetting printers. I hope the developer would ad Epson WF-3620 too. I use wic reset utility whenever I do repair on printers. Hopeful that the developer would add my very own printer WF-3620 on the list. God bless to the maker and developers of wic reset utility

I was a bit unsure about trying this at first but thought its only about fiver so give it a try, and i'm glad i did, it's so simple and you save money as well, i had a slight problem with the reset key at first so i e-mailed 2manuals, They sent me a new key and i was all sorted in less than no time . I was skeptical in using this tool, but to my surprise and delight it worked like a charm using the serial key (trial) for a quick 10%reset of my Epson Artisan 830. Yes, meaning that if you don't buy the key, it will only reset your printer 10% of the way. My counters are now at 89.99% and 90.00%. It states these counters will reach maximum soon. I only wanted to use the fax option of this printer since I bought a new printer with fill tanks that hasn't arrived yet. This product worked perfectly. I wish I knew about it this software tool before buying a new printer......
