This program is a definate must have if you want to service your own printer. Using this program along with the servive manual (440,640,740) will help you to determine what the problem is. The program shows print head voltages, waste ink counter and reset, and recover print head functions just to name a few of the useful functions that this program has to offer. It returned my printer from a paperweight into a working Epson 640 in minutes. Even if your printer is working properly you can use this program ensure it will keep working. For less than $6.00 it is worth having.

Much easier then I had expected. Downloaded the program, purchased the key, switch off and on the printer and that was it! The printer works again.

Hi, I'm particularly satisfied of the Wic Reset Utility I just used for the 3rd time (2020, 2022 and now) for my Epson WP635 Printer. I had felt pads left from the last time, easily replaced them thanks to the excellent instructions found on octoink's site, then bought a new key and re-intitialized my printer in minutes. All I can say is THANK YOU!! Thank you for allowing me to roll back (downgrade) my Epson XP-410 printer\'s firmware with ease!! A couple of clicks, and I was downgraded. This allowed me to use non-oem cartridges that would not work no matter what I tried with current firmware (Epson updated firmware just to battle the use of non-oem cartridges). The money spent will be saved with the very first refill of these refillable cartridges I bought. I was skeptical, but it really was THAT easy! Winning the battle against Epson!! First time I\'ve ever paid for a \"hack\", well worth it!

Quick and easy. i have an XP600 and Artisan 725 that were showing the \'waste inkpad error\'. I bough 2 keys and solved a 2 week headache in 10 minutes. Thanks for doing what you do and doing a Great Job in helping people Your the Best Thanks
