Ich habe das WIC Reset Utility verwendet, um den Tintenabfallzähler meines Epson-Druckers zurückzusetzen. Das Tool hat problemlos funktioniert und der Drucker läuft jetzt wieder normal. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man nicht zum Servicecenter gehen möchte. Einfach zu bedienen und sehr effizient.“

Absolutely brilliant , this small utility saved me from having to replace my Printer. Had I known of this sites existence previously I am sure it would have saved my Epson 580 which I just through out.

Dear Team WIC, I was ready to buy a new Epson R800 printer today after failing all weekend to get my printer to work despite trying every technique suggested on the internet including the SSC Service Utility that still doesn't work for whatever reason?? Thank you for your help and the printer is working 100% wonderfully again now with your reset utility!!! All I can say is thank you so much for saving my printer. I changed the ink pads ( very simple task ) and used the Epson Reset. My printer still did not work and I was devastated. I spent MANY hours online researching the problem ( Epson was absoutely no help at all ) and finally came across your product. I used your program to reset the ink pad counter and it reset the counter as advertised. After I restarted the printer It would not do anything. I uninstalled all of the Epson software and reinstalled with the original disk that came with the printer. AWESOME a new printer!!! I can not tell you how much i appreciate your product! I thought I was buying one of the best printers on the market at that time and I am really TICKED off at Epson for building in an unnessisary self destruct. I had purchased every upgrade for my printer Epson offered and was determined to get it working again and you did that for me. THANK YOU !!!!

Very impressed! After a fruitless search for official Epson support for the Waste Ink error I found a YouTube video showing how to remove and clean the ink pads but still needed to reset the counter. After some initial "Is this unofficial 3rd Party Solution a scam?" trepidation I took a chance on the WIC reset tool and now, about half an hour (mainly spent drinking tea and waiting for the key to be emailed) and 6 quid later I have a fully functioning XP-342. In the meantime, Epson UK responded to a message I sent them on Twitter, telling me that I could send the printer away to their service centre for an unspecified period of time and pay them £48 to have the ink pads changed and the counter reset. All with a caveat that having "tampered" with the ink pads myself, the service centre might refuse to fix the printer. Thanks for a great piece of kit which has saved me a lot of time, effort and money.
