  I was ready to trash my Epson 1400 but decided to give 2manuals.com a try. I purchased the usb sender tool and firmware upgrade as well. Had my printer fixed in minutes! Great work and products!   Program is easy to use, with the additional manual for reference. It allowed me to correct a corrupted EEPROM in the printer. All the .prn files are missing, so setting up the printer/scanner and the final print check are not possible. If you only want to reset the ink pad counter then there are cheaper/ free program available. Would give it a GOOD rating if missing files were included.

  My XP-4100 printer has recognized the old (but new) empty cartridge, I can also refill it with a syringe. This is a good economic solution.
