Our customers reviews:
| Bruce Nicholson | 2007-06-03 06:28:43 | | Really terrific service and rescue manual and a very helpful and approachable team of people.
The very small expenditure indeed saved me the price of a new printer. | | | Kristal Serna | 2024-09-16 20:30:45 | | It's really easy to use and has saved me tons of money over buying new printers. I've reset my current printers several times and have used them for over 5 years thanks to these reset keys. | | | eduar faundes | 2020-08-22 19:39:55 | | My XP-4100 printer has recognized the old (but new) empty cartridge, I can also refill it with a syringe. This is a good economic solution. | | | Anonymous | 2019-06-02 11:17:55 | | perfeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeecccccccccccccccccttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt | | | joeffrey marquez | 2013-02-28 04:48:07 | | Epson PX830. Can I reset this printer? | | | mauro albanese | 2020-10-22 13:26:46 | | Just over a week ago, I figured I was going to be in the market for a new printer. When the error message came up on my Epson XP-610 stating that "Parts inside the printer are at the end of their useful life" I initially was quite disappointed. However, after a quick Google search for that phrase, I came across the OctoInkjet website. After a little further research, I decided to give the trial waste ink counter reset code a shot - after all, what did I have to lose - and, somewhat to my surprise, it worked! Knowing that I then needed to purchase a new set of ink pads and a reset key to fully resolve my printer issues, I was pleasantly surprised at the low cost of purchasing both of these items together. I then placed my order, but knowing that the product was coming from overseas (I'm in the USA), I figured it would be a minimum of at least a few weeks before my printer pads arrived. But, lo and behold, the pads arrived on my doorstep in just over a week! I was thrilled and so I quickly replaced the pads in my printer with the new set (which, by the way, were a perfect fit and the instructions provided were excellent), ran the counter reset program applying the reset code I had purchased, and everything worked flawlessly! So now it feels like I have a brand new printer (although it's probably about 5 years old) and I can continue to purchase inexpensive third party ink cartridges (which I have always done), continuing to save me money for years to come. Thank you OctoInkjet!!! I will certainly be telling others to check out your product. P.S. - I seldom write product reviews so this shows how impressed I am with this product. I particularly love it when a solution is provided that overcomes "planned obsolescence" by the manufacturer. | | | Georgia Dippel | 2016-12-07 21:59:08 | | My Epson R260 quit working- read up online what the cause was (counters in printer).
I downloaded the WIC Utility package and sure enough the counter was at 100.70%.
I downloaded the Reset Key- at first it didn't work. Turned the printer off & on as instructed. Still didn't work. Finally I turned the monitoring on- reset the printer. Then turned monitoring off again and reset the printer & it finally worked.
I think the monitoring just got hung up somehow- computers!!!
I'm very thankful I'm good for another few years. It only cost $9.99 instead of the price of buying another printer (and I have all these ink cartridges that would go to waste)- OR a repair bill & would be without it while being fixed.
Would I buy another Epson printer- NO- but would I recommend 2manuals for the fix- Definitely. | | | Margaret Scheperle | 2013-01-04 01:13:05 | | Sure wish your live support was online. I could understand it being down on New Year's Eve, but not today.
I sent an email to this effect also, but no reply.
The reset key worked, thanks. For just half a day, however. Not what I expected for $9.99. Please advise. | |
