This Epson Service Manual describes basic functions, theory of electrical and mechanical operations, maintenance and repair procedures of the printer.

This manual consists of 6 chapters and Appendix.

CHAPTER 1. PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
Provides a general overview and specifications of the product.

CHAPTER 2. OPERATION PRINCIPLES
Describes the theory of electrical and mechanical operations of the product.

CHAPTER 3. TROUBLESHOOTING
Describes the step-by-step procedures for the troubleshooting.

CHAPTER 4. DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY
Describes the step-by-step procedures for disassembling and assembling the product.

Provides Epson-approved methods for adjustment.

CHAPTER 6. MAINTENANCE
Provides preventive maintenance procedures and the lists of Epson-approved lubricants and adhesives required for servicing the product.

Hi, I'm particularly satisfied of the Wic Reset Utility I just used for the 3rd time (2020, 2022 and now) for my Epson WP635 Printer. I had felt pads left from the last time, easily replaced them thanks to the excellent instructions found on octoink's site, then bought a new key and re-intitialized my printer in minutes. I have an XP960 and its the best print I have ever had . . . . .I recently replaced the inkpads (like today) as i received the warning. . . .All of a sudden I get the End of Life drama. I needed the printer urgent. . . .I went to another company an waste $40.00AU only yo fing their software couldnt find the printer. . .(panic Button time) So I did a search and found you guys. . . . . It was so easy. . . .It took all of 10mins and the old girl is runnin again. I do have a brand new XP970 sitting in a box in the room but while this one is going, I wont touch it Thanks guys I appreciate you so much Michael (Australia)

It worked on my MX892 !!! Thank you. It reset the Ink Absorber Counter, and my printer was alive again.
