I was a bit unsure about trying this at first but thought its only about fiver so give it a try, and i'm glad i did, it's so simple and you save money as well, i had a slight problem with the reset key at first so i e-mailed 2manuals, They sent me a new key and i was all sorted in less than no time . My Epson 1280 started getting the dreaded flashing panel lights. The printer quit working all together. I found on the web, that the cause was the ink waste counter had topped out and the printer required service to reset the counter. Then I found this site and downloaded the manual and the service application. Ran the program and quickly reset the counter now all is well again! Worked like a dream. Thank you! I got the flashing lights and Service required message on my Epson R2400, as many others have before!
I spent hours online and eventually managed to download Epsons own Adjustment Program. It showed me the waste ink settings but would not let me reset the counter, although I had disconnected the feed tubes and re-routed them to an external bottle.
Today I found 2Manuals.com and downloaded their WIC reset program. I thought It probably won\'t work but one key is only $9.99 so what the heck!
Well that was the best $9.99 I have ever spent - as soon as I entered the key and hit RESET the printer whirred into action, ink pumped into my waste bottle and I am back in action!

This has saved me a lot of money and the hassle of sending the printer to an Epson service centre. Truly a 5***** product! Chris Porteous, Prestatyn, U.K.

Thanks John, You saved me alot of time and frustration dealing with that idiot I was talking with at Ebson, he didn\'t know sh$t about my printer, he began by telling me that my printer was like a human body and I was like WTF???, well anyway I eventually told him he was stupid and hung up on him, I called the place where I purchased my printer from and he gave me your website, everything is working fine now and you saved me from any down time I would have had taking to the service center!... What a fantastic job guys!!! absolutely astounded that it works and how easy it was. thank you again!

Worked hassle free with my Epson XP-55 . I am very thankful that you provide the SW tool also for Linux as I have gone Microsoft-free at home. It's cool that you provide a trial license to check out, whether the counter reset works in your setup (I admit I was sceptical). It worked for me and I immediatly ordered the full license. The good thing is: as it is pure SW, it works also on weekends, when you need to print urgently and that stupid printer decided to not let you print any more!
