11-14-2025 - I JUST USED THE DOWNLOADED UTLITY PROGRAM AND BOUGHT THEIR $9.99 CODE FOR PURPOSE OF RESETTING THE INK WASTE COUNTER BULLSHIT ( EPSON ET-4550 SEVERAL YEARS OLD ) WHICH I NEVER HEARD OF UNTIL LAST WEEK WHEN THE PRINTER WOULDN'T DO ANYTHING BUT TELL ME TO CONTACT EPSON. LOL- NOPE - CHAT GTP GAVE ME THE INFO FROM HERE, USED IT AND WORKED - TOOK ABOUT 5 MINUTES - ( I HOWEVER - DIDNT ACTUALLY CLEAN OR EMPTY THE INK WASTE OR WHATEVER - IM HOPING FOR THE BEST, ASSUMING ITS OLD ENOUGH THAT IT HAS DRYED ON ITS OWN. - THIS PART ISNT RECCOMENDED TO MY UNDERSTANDING - BUT ILL FIND OUT I SUPPOSE) BUT LONG STORY SHORT - EAST TO USE DOWNLOADED UTILITY, AND RESET KEY FOR 10 BUCKS WORKED - ABOUT 5 MINUTES OR LESS PROCESS. The trial key is key (pun intended). It unblocked my EcoTank right away through Wi-Fi. Soon I'll have to buy this key. This software DISABLING of the printer should be illegal. It's programmed to actually brick the device. Unbelievable. Talk about planned obsolescence!

Everything works good for resetting printers. I hope the developer would ad Epson WF-3620 too. I use wic reset utility whenever I do repair on printers. Hopeful that the developer would add my very own printer WF-3620 on the list. God bless to the maker and developers of wic reset utility

Thanks you, reseted a Epson l1300 ink waste counter sucessfully, who sold me the printer wanted to charge me $25 and I would still have to take the printer to his office.

Looks ok, working fine, save a lot of time in my case, finding a bad sensor in 15 minutes, but can not read counter information`s. Only can reset.
