I made the mistake of upgrading the firmware in my Epson XP-434. That caused my ink cartridges to not be recognized. I found this WIC Reset Utility after after searching for original firmware version.
I bought the key and plugged it into the utility, and bingo 10 minutes later I was up and running.

I just used this utility on an Epson XP 810. Worked like magic. First the trial version,this brought my printer back to life immediately. Then i bought the reset key, and according to the program, the waste counter is now set to zero. I replaced the inkpads with thightly packed adsorbent paper, so for less than ten dollars I have a fully working printer /scanner/copier again.

The Epson PP-100 should be supported (it is in your list), but in the WIC Reset Utility v.5.0.40 program the printer is not supported in the 'Control' button. What am I doing wrong ?

The reason: Epson XP-241 manufactured in the Philippines. I was desperate.

Nevermind. Did more research and to resolve the error, aside the firmware downgrade, I removed the ink, unplugged the printer, turned the printer back on, and placed the Ink's in individually pressing done after each ink. Doing this I was able to get it back up and running again. Thanks!

I finally succeeded after a few attempts and the firmware downgrade worked !!
Now I can use my non-OEM ink cartridges on my Epson printer

Looks ok, working fine, save a lot of time in my case, finding a bad sensor in 15 minutes, but can not read counter information`s. Only can reset.

brilliant - absolutely brilliant. Thank you.
Thought I would have to trash my printer and the unused ink cartridges.
Only hiccup was needing to disable my security protection to install this wonderful product.
Used it as a trial - which proved it worked - then bought the key to finish the job.
I am wrapped as you have saved me hundreds of dollars as there is nothing wrong with the quality of the printing.

I was ready to buy a new Epson R800 printer today after failing all weekend to get my printer to work despite trying every technique suggested on the internet including the SSC Service Utility that still doesn't work for whatever reason??

Everything works good for resetting printers. I hope the developer would ad Epson WF-3620 too. I use wic reset utility whenever I do repair on printers. Hopeful that the developer would add my very own printer WF-3620 on the list. God bless to the maker and developers of wic reset utility

a durat 5-10 minute (inregistrarea pe site si plata), am instalat softul lor in care am introdus
codul primit prin e-mail - de la ei si in cateva secunde totul functioneaza ca nou.
Imprimanta mea Epson R285 - resetata acum a 2-a oara.
Prima data, de frica am apelat la o persoana, care tot aici a resetat-o.

Thanks for the program and manual. I was able to revive a 2 year old 4900.
I had 100% blockage in 8 of the 11 heads, and over 50% blockage in the last
three.... I ran the ink charge with cleaning fluid. Now I have 100% of the
nozzle check pattern on ALL of the heads. I was blown away. I thought for
sure I was going to pay for a new head. So, thank you.
I also have a an older Epson Stylus Pro 4000. It has been sitting a while
and the heads are dried up. Do you have the same program and manual for
this printer? I would like to try to revive it as well. If you do could
you just send me a link? Thanks again
